Flash Kiss Fish Swish! Poem by Robert Edgar Burns

Flash Kiss Fish Swish!

Have you ever seen a desert storm
And watched the lightning streak the sky?
Did it fill you with awe and wonder,
Of the power from up on high?

Have you watched a blue bird diving
In a hole cracked in winter ice,
And then watch his reappearing
With three fish instead of tiny mice?

Have you ever seen two squirrels kissing?
An awesome display of care and love.
Or have you seen an island mountain
Reflected in the ocean with the clouds above?

To think these measured timeless acts
Were part of sudden “big bang, ”
Is the most puzzling of all mysteries
To ever cloud the mind of man!

If we evolved from the monkeys my friend
Then why are they still here now?
Do you understand the term evolution,
Then explain it if you even know how!

But the smarter you try to act as if
Big words confuse a thinking man’s brain,
Is because you want to write off Creator,
To ease your guilt from sin and it’s pain.

Evolution is a theory that is taught as fact,
And it’s causing many people to be damned!
But theories all start out as pure fiction.
Who lit the fuse that started your big bang!

Moral: And educated man does not
necessarily make a wise man.
