Flashbacks Poem by Ray Hansell

Flashbacks

Smiles, tears and laughter
Flashbacks from the past
Yearbooks and banners
Old photographs

Old bikes from our youth
Tarnished and rusted
Old forty five records
That need to be dusted

Friends that we've forgotten
The one's we laid to rest
The one's we've kept in touch with
That we considered the best

Childhood memories
That we all treasure
They always remind us
Of what really gave us pleasure

Our past is not forgotten
It's safely tucked away
To be brought out every now and then
As we flashback to those days
