Flirting With Flyleaves Poem by Bernard Jess Sagpang

Flirting With Flyleaves

My eyes run

To and fro

Side by side

Searching glitters

Searching busyness

Flirting with flyleaves

Savoring nonsense

A lazy man’s profession

And a lazy man’s affliction

Out of boredom

Innocence

And a dispensable brand

I saw in the mirror

I heard in their whispers

And so I named to myself
