Floating - Poem by Luke Weinberg

flat as a table, made of maple wood
arms stretched out only if i could
long wingspan, legs tight together
breath in and out, light as a feather
in the cooling sun, on a hot sunny day
what better way to spend your day i say
floating in a pool of water
