Floors That Tell Lies Of Your Footsteps Poem by Lorene Kinsey

Floors That Tell Lies Of Your Footsteps

Rating: 4.0

Floors that tell lies of your footsteps
climbing 16 carpet stairs,
traveling hallways to a lonely bed
and a wife that no longer cares.

Drove me crazy to be awakened
by the brushing of your teeth
warming of water running
to wipe your filthy face clean.
