Flowing Flute Poem by William Waterway

Flowing Flute

Flowing waters fashion soils from stuff of stars
as swirling cycles of atomic sun create seeds just for fun

All to grace our Earth with life born from strife and love
rising from places dark in search of light from sky above

Thus the workings of fickle winds
find themselves in forest home where woods stand tall

Caressing and embracing the trunks of trees
while at play with branches set to random rhythmic sway

As lifted human eyes and hands reach for heights on high
with titillating thoughts of serenading spirit sound

As hollowed hallowed branch brought to breathing mouth
fills the void with vibration of new voice found
