Fly On The Wall Poem by Zevanda Borjon

Fly On The Wall

she lies on the bed silent and numb
cradling her stomach for anysign of life
the screams of her past echo the room
she wished she hadnt told him and started this strife

with hope in her heart she walks to the door
and presses her throbbing ear against it
her eyes go black with the cocking of the gun
she hides behind the pain she hides behind the slit

the door slams open and she stimbles to a fall
she gazes up at him and his blood-red eyes
she attepmts to tell him it wasnt her fault
it bubbles in his ears beacuse to him its just lies

she tells him it was forceed she didnt want it at all
his face burns with anger at the impossibillity
she doesnt know what to say
but lies and betrayal are all he seems to see

she SCREAMS OUT SHE LOVES HIM AT THE TOP OF HER VOICE
hoping those words would repair the damage done
he went silent for a moment a tear ran down his face
the next thing heard was the sound of a gun

gasping for air she fell to the floor
realizing what he had done and hating the pain
he fell to his knees...kissed her one last time
then took his own life in vain

shocked at the scene and the fires of the gun
trying to escape i hover down the hall
its not my first sight of death and it wont be my last
i'll be watching you...for i am nothiing more than the fly on you wall
