Flying By The Seat Of My Pants By Sofia Kioroglou

Rating: 4.5

Life is like riding a bicycle
You don't fall unless you stop pedalling
But what about freewheeling?
It is like allowing your life
to be controlled by destiny

The truth is that I have never learned
to ride a bike but only to freewheel
I love flying by the seat of my pants
I just love the unpredictable
I just want to see life like a walk in the park

An insightful analogy drawn with life and a ride on bicycle. Lovely poem nicely penned with conviction.

is way more fun than riding a bike. Too monotonous. I like the first two lines, philosophical and they make you think....what if I stop doing what I do everyday without thinking? What would happen?

I agree, there is no such thing as tomorrow, so ride fast and hold on.

Life is like riding a bicycle You don't fall unless you stop pedalling- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Absolutely great lines to begin a poem with, you present your reader with not only an image but a wise thought to ponder on. Freewheeling- - - that is an exciting thought, puts life on the edge, boring is not an option. Yes! I like this very much!
