For A Lifetime Poem by Cee Bea

For A Lifetime

I notice the context has contour,
that nothing is forever except
the winds

its within the folds of
unseen fabric of time
that
we are gifted the day

held with the the boughs
or beginnings
of tomorrow
we can borrow nothing

but we owe for a lifetime.
