Scribes have put the obduracy of rock into writing...

brass bells are melted and incorporated,

carrying reverberations further in silence...

a melted-down brass ewer pours ablutions

from stroke to stroke...

sun shining on that fateful moment bears witness for all time...

even rocks are appointed,

to cradle that eternally terminal moment...

the bier of landscape itself proclaims....

love is now laid to rest...

in tandem with its fulfillment
