For Against Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

For Against

For against

I look for Ezra Pound:
“Who is right? ”
Who is right ‘for, opposed’?

Many fought in Spain, see ‘Rewind’
In same way many fight, in Iraq-Syria
And the signs…

They depart both legal, illegal
Leave behind right and wrong
And the signs…

Some are damned for their faith
And some are admired in papers
And the signs…

Pound was caught as the wrong
Set in cage, water tank did blast
And the signs…

Sure as hell, I am lost
See both sides shed blood
One for faith, one show off.

Research is a model, half naked
Once on bike she shows legs
Once poncho, camera…

A soldier’s brother, unaware...
His haircut, Horse’s Mane.

Ezra Pound, who is right?
