I waited so long for you to say
What I know you’ve wanted to say
Those three little words
We both felt it so deep
But why was it so hard to say

When I finally said
What I wanted to say
When the courage was finally there
I told you I loved you
And to my surprise
You said that you loved me too

Now that it’s out
And we’ve finally said
What we desperately needed to say
It feels so secure
Our futures feel set
I know that you’re mine
For forever
