For Hearts

For my heart has longed
Forever, like the song that
Eternally resonates,
And hearing is a heavenly tool
For all those learned.

For my heart has a height
Too mighty, and too fast
An accomplishment,
Young lights are young minds,
Youth is doubly troublesome.

For when it beats, the burden
Has been extinguished
Like the living of the height
That is tall and splendid,
For when it beats it has heat.
