For Julia Poem by Kewayne Wadley

For Julia

Footsteps are seldomly dormant on the skies horizon
Breaths of the times I wish could remain ours
Prayers are but wishes yet granted to the believers whom long for something more
as this world is not ours
Kaledoscopes spent the view that stays the same
Hands that grip nothing but emptiness as your face is no longer there to feel its touch
How I long for the warmth of days past
My eyes have never opened that wide again
The cars that have passed the different ports my eyes have visited
There isnt another beauty that can fulfill the space that was you
I miss the times shared alone in your company
The rose petals that slid against your face as I myself became a believer as that moment I found serenity against your lips
The things I believed to be silly found meaning whenever you'd blush 4am struck the clocks hand
Mere altos played in the distance whenever your thought crosses paths with the sorrowful chill of winters bliss
Money spent trying to supliment the addiction you've left
until the day im blessed with your smile again I'll contunue to look towards the heavens as your presence is truly missed
