Even though people talk and hate
my feelings for you they'll never taint
cover your ears and open your heart
let the fun and happiness start
I know you've been done wrong in the past
but this wont be a quickie but, something that'll last.
Though you seem to just put me off
and when I speak my mind you only scoff
I still want to be your special man
and hold you for every second that I can
truth be told I was once a dog
but those days have long been gone
I've been hurt and thrown through the mud
karma caught me and it wasn't good
out of my mouth comes truth you can let the tape record
for being my girl, all i have to give, is your reward
