Nothing is wasted, nothing is lost
Whatever we do, whatever the cost
If we do it all in the name of love
Then everything we can surely have.

For love is great if love is pure
One must always know for sure
If love is gone and love has died
We never can take life in stride.

For if in love we dwell, in love we live
In love we have to share and give
Utter joy, peace and extreme gladness
We will experience not a tinge of sadness.

For love of you, in love with you
You are leaving me with no clue
Be thou as it may, let this reach you
The love I feel for you is definitely true!
