For The Wrong Reasons Poem by Biff McGuire

For The Wrong Reasons

If I want you for all the wrong reasons
To suppress all my wants and desires

For a lovers sweet kiss in my solemn sad season
A friend and her body to sooth all my fires

Would the sparkle remain in your soft sexy eyes?
If you knew that my lines were composed of sweet lies?

If your scent and your taste are my wishes and needs
Will the smile that you wear be so willing to please?

If I dare touch you so; will I feel your retreat?
As you swiftly start pulling away!

Or feel you slip closer until our eyes meet
And the squeeze of your hand says to stay!

These questions I ask of a woman divine,
Knowing the answers are not always right

But asking this now is relaxing my world
And the thoughts of you fuel my sweet dreams through the night!
