Matthew Edward Peterson (12/21/1983 / Salt Lake City, UT)
For you
you encompass my dreams, my everythings
founded on building blocks of sand castles in the sky
i ran from you, ran from me too
for deeper oceans tide i stride forward
allowing your image to engulf my mind
as i so desperately hold myself together however
realization is the stinging through my heart
as i cheer for you dancing on
through chasms of mazes i gently aid
standing far away in my own stutter i shutter
sense of this has no meaning but time
to dive deeper away leads me astray to you
for this notion i float in through stormy weathers
alone to my dreams alone at the seams it seams
that heaven has no meaning without you
