I want him
and he wants me
two people
longing to be free

the restraints of the world
holding us down
refusing us our love
destroying our crown

How I need him
by my side
fighting the world
on this crazy ride

The secret we hide
the depth of our love
it remains in shadows
a restrained dove

One day my love
we will be free
together forever
living happily

until that day comes
I will tell you this
no matter what peril comes
I won't miss out on this
