Forbidden Desires Poem by Godfrey Morris

Forbidden Desires

These hidden desires embedded
In me has never been extinguished.
They burn like wild fire
In raging winds.
They tresspasses in unfamiliar realms,
Both sacred and profane needing to
Explore to prolong sanity.

These desires must never see light
The known world has no true justice
For them.
These impulses must live between us alone.
I picture you and I engaged,
In extreme fantacies.
I the villan hunting you my deer.
Becoming attached in a naked embrace.
Engulfed in a orgy of emotions,
Fulfilling expressions never yet had.
Caressing Chambers of body and soul.

Then at last I lay volunarable in your arms,
Love struck a slave to your discretion by
The chorus of your song.
Every morning I dream what I can not have,
You do belong to another.
But still am I not dream?
Till at last you are one day free,
To walk in our journey of perfection
Together.
