We have bones of earth,
that dance, that march,
coved with skin
thinly spun from secrets.
Mother Ocean!
Sister Rain!
Fearless as men
we ride-
ruling the night,
the beautiful night!
We are the fire,
we are freedom itself!
Declare! Declare!
The freedom we have become!
Remain unafraid-
we can not burn,
we can not fear death,
we are the sea!
We are the earth!
Fear not, great man!
We have reached
the end of the world
and now we look back
and laugh at what lies behind us.
Fear not! Declare!
Mother Luna!
Sister Stars!
We are a brand new name,
a new race, older than the rest-
a million persons with just one name.
Fear not, but throw your head back,
and laugh out at creation,
at silly mankind!
We can see on into infinity-
fear not, great man!
