You said that for always
You'd spend your life with me
But I guess forever
isn't as long as it used to be

I loved the time we spent together
The memories we shared
When you told me that you loved me
When you told me that you cared

From being with you, I learned
That I shouldn't beieve what people say
Too many have lied to me
Too many have walked away

So I'll try harder next time
But now I finally see
Nothing lasts forever
Cuz forever isn't as long as it used to be
