! ! ! ! ! ! ! Forever Love

You are the apple of my eye, the beautiful star
that falls straight from the sky. Take my hand, walk
with me, oh look, look at the open sea, ahh the beauty,
like a painted canvass, the awesome colours gently
blend. You and I see in dual comparison, the
beauty, shining beauty, infinite beauty, breathtaking
beauty. It will last a lifetime here on this earth, you know
we belonged to each other since the hour of our
birth, I remember you in another lifetime, I loved
you then as I love you now. Place my hand in
your palm, walk with me from the morning light
until the darkness flows into dawn.

I’ll follow you no matter where you go and stay
with you in the evening’s glow. You are like
a precious diamond glint, the sweet scent of
a flower budding, a taste of fine wine.
You are the flame that burns deep within my soul
you cast a spell that only I can hold, so love
me, yes, always love me and keep me close to your
heart, I will treasure you my darling and never
forget you, no I will never forget you.

Did you know how much I truly cared, did I tell you
enough when you were here. I love you, I will always
love you. Though I know you have closed that earthly
door. I still feel you my darling in the quiet of the night,
I see you in the brightness of the morning light,
I hear you in the falling rain and I remember, oh yes my
darling I remember your pain. I’ll carry you with me
wherever I go, no other will take your place, no other
you know. Wait for me my darling in that land so far above
the sea, look for me and I know one day you will find me.
Walking with arms opened wide, a smile on my face,
saved by His Holy Grace, oh I’ll come to you
and we’ll meet on that Heavenly shore, you and I
once again, this time for evermore.

A beautifully written poem, Melvina, wonderful imagery. Praise the Lord, there will be a wonderful reunion when great loves will again be together and this time permanently. I do love this ending.

Walking with arms opened wide, a smile on my face,
saved by His Holy Grace, oh I’ll come to you
and we’ll meet on that Heavenly shore, you and I
once again, this time for evermore.
Best wishes for a great new year.

To season my fireside with personal talk.--

Or neighbours, daily, weekly, in my sight:
