Forgive Me Poem by Ernesto Torres

Forgive Me

Forgive me
for i could see
beyond the beauty
in the city

Then i open
and i was hoping
that it would be blank,
but that was a mistake

For it holds wonders
and makes me ponder
to snatch this
and you will not miss

the wonders within
so i must sin
for i cannot resist
the beauty in the mist

of this notebook so fine
forgive me i plead
for i have made it mine
and it will lead

to a beauty of another kind

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM

i gave it back to the owner but then she gave it back
so this is dedicated to her
