Forgot To Be Afraid Poem by Paul Reed

Forgot To Be Afraid

Gentle last rays of sunlight
Leaving the flush of pink on the evening
Beckoning forth the night
To wrap around our dreaming;

The calm stillness of a happy day
Old memories stirred and new ones made
Life, for once, let us out to play
And we forgot to be afraid.
