Fortune Cookies Poem by Steven Silent Wolf

Fortune Cookies

The unalterable past determines
the inevitable future.
I am free now.

I cannot change what I do not own.
God cannot use what I do not love.
I am whole now.

Wherever I go, there I am.
I am here now.

Wittgenstein’s Chutes and Ladders Why do I feel like I’m getting nowhere fast? Like I’m stuck in a maze of corridors in a dream And every time I turn a corner I’m back where I began? Except I know that I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be, Which is somewhere I’ve never been before, And yet somewhere I always am?
