Watching you watching her makes me fortunes fool
In the middle of it all I fell in love with you
You gave me dreams that now won’t come true
You gave me back hope
Reminded me just what I was fighting for
Emotions so pure
The silver lining after the storm
What makes the pain beautiful
I thank you even as you hold her near
And I fight the tears
You can’t change your heart any more than I can save mine
Because I love you your happiness will always come before mine
I’d rather have a friend than an unrequited love
So I’ll keep the truth inside
But you’ll still see it all in my actions in my eyes
I’ll still breathe you in
Knowing I can’t get enough of your beautiful mind
Miss you every time you’re not by my side
Sleep alone and go on with your life changing mine
