FOUND HEART

I found my heart
after all these years
but it’s not the same heart
it’s an older heart
it’s a gentler, pleasing, Peaceful
and understandable heart

it laughs when it’s sad
it understands
when it can’t
comprehend

it pleases
even though
it’s in pain

the heart that bleeds
With tears

This tired heart
tell's me

Over and over again
that’s what
love Is! ! !

Mr. Resendes: You're undoubtedly a sweet person, but you know nothing about what constitutes a poem.

Poem of the Day

poet George Gordon Byron

So we'll go no more a-roving
So late into the night,
Though the heart still be as loving,
And the moon still be as bright.

For the sword outwears its sheath,
