Frankenstein's Temple Poem by soren Barrett

Frankenstein's Temple

Nature's effortless law
Breath reflexively,
no exertion
Hearts beat unconsciously
Flowers bloom without thought
Culture's iron gate's rusted
Chain's links of laws,
locked with moral padlocks
Society a sepulcher,
religion's painted urn,
no matter how pretty the tomb
the occupant's dead
Frankenstein's patched zombe parts,
technology's creation,
beauty embalmed,
with plastic flowers,
on cold polished marble stone
