Frantic Heart Poem by Minerva Agriam

Frantic Heart

Would you stand still for a moment;
Because the grace a peaceful heart is great?

But like in a chaotic storm you haste,
Searching for everything you think you needed.

Living in a materialistic world full of gadgets,
Inventions and success, power and money you wished.

All these you saw the first day your eyes alighted.
Dazzling your ambitions, coloring your dreams.

Nothing to conquest the need to fulfill,
The longing of your frantic heart.
