He stares at the bare walls
completely lost to time
he wanders lonely halls
slowly losing his mind.
He asks himself why
he was ever even born
his enitire life's a lie
by sin his life is torn.
Then through his mind rings
a question clear and bright
Is there a God that brings
peace and eternal life?
He breaks down into tears
as reality sets in
peace replaces fears
God forgives his sin.
His knees hit the cold floor
in tears deep as a sea
just as a guard enters the door
saying, 'Man, go home, you're free.'
