Free From The World Poem by Emma Jane Pearson

Free From The World

Rating: 5.0

Two souls alone and hurting,
Two different worlds,
Two separate bonds from the same mould.
One an easy target,
Advertising himself to bullies,
Weak and misunderstood, to himself and others.
The other meek,
Small in size but a big heart in contrast.
Different and unique, to herself and others.
But, both alone and hurting.

Alone with trouble in every direction,
The only place to hide,
With their two heads up in the clouds
This is where the two dreamers meet,
In a world of their own
Where they wish to be free from the world.
A special relationship they behold,
And no one will take it away from the beholders.
There is no reason to run alone any more.

Alone standing in the pouring rain,
Of many that have cried before themselves.
She parts left, he stops and stares,
A simple look, he took her eye and looked on.
Acknowledging just how special,
Their companion ship is to him.
Both knowing and thinking the same thing-
I think I love you.
