Free Me
I feel like a bird with broken wings
Unable to fly towards freedom
I feel like I live in a cage
Unable to see the light of the sun.
Free me from the shackles of misery
Of this covenant I no longer desire
Free me from this unfathomable sadness
Of the years I have wasted.
Kiss my broken wings
Heal my broken heart
Help me soar again
Make me love again.
