To my dearest spirit who wishes to leave my life
It is with sad, sweet sorrow that I say Goodnight
Although for you my heart shall be forlorn
I will grieve not long for which I mourn

Deep in your splendor is a part of me
That radiates what love can be
For my joy is you inside my heart
With loving thoughts, though we now must part

So to you my love I shall say goodbye
I understand, there's no need to cry
Sometimes we change as time moves along
At least we had the last dance,
After life played our song
