, Fresh Toothpaste Kiss

Rating: 2.7

A soft pastel day, even my thoughts
are faint and misty, my feelings are
ambivalent about the gift of this day,
only one thing is clear

I love your sweet sleeping face, the
warmth of your body near, I love waking
you, sharing the first morning coffee with
you, I love the way you stretch

Then jump up with a spring in your step,
excited about the forthcoming day, I love
the enthusiasm you exude, I love the way
you look forward to the challenges

At your place of work, I love the fresh tooth-
paste kiss you give me before you leave,
I love the tune you whistle as you run
down the stairs

I love you, my colourful man
in this soft pastel day…
