Friday The 13th Poem by Desy Newbill

Friday The 13th

Rating: 4.0

We live in different worlds
But here on my side of the universe
Happiness is found in purity
Independence and self security
Love is found in honesty
Relationships are not make believe
And all is done within God’s will
Each moment is honest
And in moral fulfill
Do and know that God is watching
But pay no mind to people judging
What’s right is found in Him
What’s right is found within

Your world is secluded
And only the worthy may join
Warm turns to cold
Open turns to closed
Bonds turn to rust
And love turns to dust
With a simple disagreement
People merely extinguish
Close but yet so far from your world
Do I conform and be adored
Pretend as not to offend
Fail to be true to self
And then shall I receive your help

Money doesn't bring me peace
Conformity masks true harmony
I wont wear a mask for you
Either take what you see
Or just leave me be
Who are you to think what's right
We've lived completely different lives
You willingly will not see
And though our worlds are on two sides
I'm sure we'll both get along just fine
I hope you have a wonderful life
See you next time
Our worlds collide
