Friends I'Ve Made Poem by Kevin Seales

Friends I'Ve Made

I've always thought of school
As a place to learn and grow
A place where I can stimulate my brain

The teaches here are cool
But little did I know
That I'd be making friends just the same

We go from kindergarten
All the way to fourth grade
It seems like such a long time

Like flowers in a garden
With all the friends I've made
We grow together, and learn to be kind

Kyle, Katie, and Sidney
The friends that I know best
Will always be there till the end

Jacob, Carter, and Whitney
You three make up the rest
I know that I will see you again

Saying goodbye is hard to do
Especially to my teacher
Who taught me everything I should know

A great big thanks to you
For not being a preacher
And helping my tiny brain grow
