From Infancy To Teens Poem by Phil Soar

From Infancy To Teens

The nursery rhymes made up their day
Those infants who had time to play
Too fast the days of infancy flow
When children have somewhere to go
And the laughter fills the classroom walls
Their life flies by and seldom stalls
From an early age they have routines
And learn so much, up until their teens
When the phone becomes their only tool
And their thumbs type quickly at the school
No nursery rhymes, just Facebook rules
Across the country at endless schools
