From Time To Time Poem by Cat Reina

From Time To Time

From time to time
You feel the urge to read
At the bank
Of The River Bed

So as you had your Dickenson
I Had My Frost
And the Thoughts that
Wandered of you tonight
Laying under the sunlit pine
Of the moons and planets
Stems and leaves that
Seem to only arrive from the words of you

As I lay wandering in
Your arms and hands
I look to see a start move in the sky
Sinister Star which brings such thoughts of
Trains, Ships, Automobiles, and Planes
Smoke stacks masking your eyes
Shipping ports, Oil Wells
Paper Mills and Real Estate

And now with a sudden escape
I leave with you
And in the security of my own home
I finish you, Robert Frost, under the
Neon blue sign and wait
