Your seed of love is sown,
And in time will bring forth fruit,
Which you shall reap one hundred fold;
For love needs only two to grow,
And will never be controlled
By clime nor season,
Poet’s rhyme
Nor logic’s reason.
In driest days your love will thrive,
Through storm and hail it will survive,
For in a Rock it finds its rest,
And this Rock has both you bless’d
As friend and lover
You in Him abide
Now I pray, as do your friends,
United all in heart and mind
That through God’s abounding love
Your love will be refined.
So in this life, may you find in store
A part of heaven unsurpassed
Until you reach
That greater heaven’s door.
