Galaxies Poem by G J Salgado

Galaxies

Take my hand and don't ask why,
Follow me unto the distant skies,
Say goodbye to all that you know but do not cry.

A surprise waits for you but will you name it,
A name is written for you but will you claim it,
A claim has called unto you where the unknown sit,
A star is known born from the light that you lit.

So gorgeous within its own beauty,
Stolen from your soul and memory,
It is everything that you see,
Taken by the breath that lets you be.
