Gangsters Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Gangsters

Gangsters

Have no faith in doctors
Any kind, family to dentist,
Most of all in chiropractors
Many but sure not all
They make team of active gangsters
Rob us off in their ways.

No, never face to face
They do not give away
The way and the secret.

You see one for a pain
He offers the others
After a prescription.

Example, accident
"Need massage" one will say
They check neck, then spine
And that goes on, on and on
"Will see you under knife"
Or need a "chemical injection"

Your eyes bulge, of fear
"Insurance; not your pay."

"Damn you all, this is why
Insurance sky highs
It is too expensive…and we pay."

Story reminds me of Nesin, Turk writer;
Son went to mother and asked for shoes
The father, paymaster, angry and was moved

He sold hay.

As always, mother was on child's side
"He is good, shoes are bad."
A research started…shoe maker, then tanner
Finally went to cow: "the hay is very bad."

He cheated himself round, started circle theft.
