Gather The Herbs Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Gather The Herbs

Rating: 5.0

To gather the herbs:
Take your mother along,
Take your father along,
Take your son along,
Take your daughter along,
Take your wife along,
Take your husband along;

A daughter-in-law,
A son-in-law,
A mother-in-law,
A father-in-law,
A sister-in-law,
A brother-in-law;
To gather the herbs.

Horn of strength!
To prepare the herbs;
Pure, cure, sure, secure!
Needed to heal the land,
With the spices of peace and love.
