Geisha Poem by Stephanie Dower

Geisha

Rating: 4.8

The floating gardens sing and sway,
Nightingales chorus to a new day.
Koi carp drift lazily amongst the reeds,
Underneath the blossoms of the sakura trees.

Petals dance and drift and sink,
Atop the bridge a statue blinks.
Robed in mountains, trees and flowers,
Bathed in the fresh alpine showers.

She stands still.
