Gerard's Soul
I see Gerard's soul
In the butterfly today
Flying free to and fro
Just like it was yesterday
Brilliant, Richard! Jazz...that was so much part of Kerouac's life. A butterfly in flight....jazz...the movement, it's jazz. This verse goes to myfavourites.
Without reading yr notes, I knew you were referring Kerouac's brother and looks like you have Jack's spirit. Bravo!
