Ghost Of Burns Poem by John Mccudden

Ghost Of Burns

Rating: 5.0

money in my pocket gas in the tank
only got myself to thank
dont tell me i cant
i only got myself to thank

all these voices talking at me
i wont listen to what they say
going to do what i want today
got to make it the easy way

going to drink fire water with the bard
escape the life i had
i just hate feeling bad

chew the fat with the ghost of burns
fly with demons just for fun
god you got me on the run

the life of riley is what i seek
whisky strong water weak
drowned in fire water all week

now i cant get out of here
one more drink rabbie dear
one more drink one more cheer
one more to hide my fear

One we can all relate too, whichever demon we choose.
