Gift Certificates Poem by Audrey Heller

Buying presents, can get to be a chore,
that's why gift certificates, appeal to me
more! Frankly, When I start out I haven't
anything, particular in mind, for when it
comes to choices I find, I'm in a bind!
I haven't a clue, what to even look for,
no idea, what it could be. It sure would
be easier, if I were choosing something
for me! Should it be an article of clothing,
that can be a difficult task, who remembers
sizes, I never thought to ask. Now, there's
the question of color and style. What I think
is appropriate, they may think is vile! It's then
I decided, a gift certificate is the best investment
to make. They can buy, whatever it is they choose
and under these circumstances, I really have,
nothing to lose!
