Gifts We Have Poem by David Harris

As our life’s journey moves onward
we find we haves gifts in the arts
whether it be in writing, painting
or entertaining people with laughter.
These gifts we are born with,
but never surfaces until something triggers them.


The trigger might not be noticed
at the time it is pulled
and the gift might take time
to generate to its fullest.
The more you do to expand the gift
the better you get at doing it.


The key is to never give up
no matter what others say.
If it feels right to you
then it has to be good.
Believing in yourself
will help you forward.
