Girl And Bird Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Girl And Bird

Girl and bird

Driving in my car, hold a page
Bus stop to my left is like cage
As poet I am needing subject
She is there!

Her eyes are far from being round
And are not located on the sides,
As birds say:
"I do not care for back, nor the front!
One is gone and second has not come! "

See her legs
Far below the skirt
From shoes to her knees
And above…

"She is bird, "
Want to shout,
"Her legs are crooked
As are birds'…"

Are birds, girls all the same?
Both dear, beauty, and in pain?
