Give Me Time
Give me some time to pen a rhyme
To contemplate the words I'll make
And hope to write without mistake
Give me some time to pen a rhyme
Give me the mind to then express
An inner thought, an epithet
And time to show my happiness
To all who would receive it
Give me a way to start my day
To write a poem every day
To sit back, thinking of my style
And should I remedy my thinking for a while?
